Like so many couples, when Eric and Jessica reached out about photography for their weddings, they imagined a day full of hugs, high fives, and big smiles! While the smiles were absolutely a part of this day, the hugs and high fives were not. Nevertheless, Jessica and Eric pulled off a wedding day that felt safe and was full of love and laughter.
During the ceremony there was a quick sprinkle, but not enough to interrupt. The wedding party enjoyed their time together taking formal photos and had the perfect prop for making this part of the day even more festive! Thanks to The Greenbriar Inn for bringing out the extra-large bottle of wine and being generally wonderful throughout this whole crazy wedding season!
The couple was able to enjoy some time with their friends and family during cocktail hour and first dance before being seated for dinner. Toasts, cake cutting, and father/daughter, mother/son dances made for a complete and perfect day for Jessica and Eric! I’m thrilled that I could be there to document and am so happy that they were able to move forward with the original date.
Jessica, a ballerina, was stunning in her dress! Her bridesmaids gushed and were so full of love as she got ready to head down the aisle. Before the ceremony, Jessica had a “first touch” with her groom so that they could briefly connect before the ceremony. While they were preparing to head to the lawn, guests were able to grab hand sanitizer and color-coded bracelets that indicated their covid comfort level among other guests. Some were good with a fist bump, while some preferred an air hug. The bracelets made communicating that very easy!
