You have your updated family photos, now what?
Get them on your wall!
My favorite thing to do with our family photos is to display them at home. There are many options when it comes to displaying your images. Here are a few ideas from my own home.
to the RIGHT, a 16x20 canvas. They are easy to hand or lean on a shelf. (frame from Ikea)
MIDDLE - my favorite. A framed canvas. This is a squire 18x18. I think the frame dresses it up a bit. Check out MPix for reasonably priced by qaulity canvas.
LEFT - a more tradition white matted frame. I love this option because you can switch out the photo if you want. (reach out for pricing on framed canvas)
BOTTOM - 12 8x8 tiles (from MixTiles)
Create a wall of tiles to fill a larger wall space.
Consider an album design.
I’m personally better at creating these books when we have a family trip, but when the girls were younger I made one every year. Now they are teens and they still enjoy flipping the pages of these books and remembering our earlier family adventures.
These are wonderful for at home Lifestyle sessions. Albums that tell the story of your family today will be treasured for a lifetime by your entire family.

Plan ahead for Family gifts.
I often joke with clients after our fall sessions that their holiday shopping is done! It’s true though! Grandparents want photos of the kids more than anything you can buy at a store. There are many cool ways to gift your photos. One of my favorite yearly gifts to my parents is the easel calendar from Artifact Uprising.
A nice frame can be a great gift for family. Prints can be switched out each year after you update your family photos.
Prepare for your holiday card.
