As a wedding photographer, I’ve learned that no matter the weather, love shines through. Allison and Trey’s wedding at Black Mountain Lodge, Arapahoe Basin on July 1, 2022, was a perfect example of this. Despite an uncooperative forecast, their day was filled with joy, romance, and stunning moments that made for an unforgettable celebration.

Embracing the Weather

When the rain began to pour, it seemed like a traditional five-minute wait wouldn’t do the trick. But Allison and Trey were determined to say their vows outdoors, and their resilience paid off. They chose to hold their ceremony on the deck of Black Mountain Lodge, and the result was nothing short of magical. The combination of the lush, misty backdrop and the couple’s unwavering love created a ceremony that was as heartwarming as it was beautiful.
