Jessica + Stephen Arapahoe Basin Wedding

These two were able to stick with their original wedding date at Arapahoe Basin in September. It was supposed to be a double wedding weekend for me, but nothing went as planned in 2020.

These two worked very hard to create an experience for their guests that was safe and fun. Summit County was stunning on this September afternoon. Jess and Steve were able to have their day with their closest friends and family in person, and some from out of town were able to watch through zoom.

Their personal touches included Steve’s star wars figures from when they were kids, a thoughtfully delivered ceremony from Jessica’s brother, and a really cute first dance!

A huge thank you to Meredith from Arapahoe Basin for hustling extra hard to make sure that everything went as planned for Jessica and Steve. It was also my first time working with the incredibly talented Sean Slavin. Jessica’s beautiful flowers were created by Petal and Bean.

It was not easy to plan a wedding during covid and I appreciate my couples for putting so much extra work into planning their wedding day and staying focused on the end goal of getting married. I teared up so many times during this day because I was so happy to see another couple have their wedding day. I drove home from this event feeling so happy and hopeful.
