You’ve received your senior photos… now what?

Oof… feeling overwhelmed around the next steps as graduation approaches? I get it and I’m here to help!

You have your photos now and it’s time to think about how you’ll want to incorporate them as you plan to celebrate your senior.

Here are some things you’ll what to start thinking about as graduation apporaches.

  • Obviously your senior’s first task is to select their favorite photo for the yearbook. If you haven’t already, please share that with me so I can format it for the year book.

  • Next, you’ll start receiving emails from their school about a senior ad. This is another opportunity to use the senior photos that we took in the fall.

  • Holiday gifts - You have a senior and a bunch of very proud grandparents, aunts and uncles! Gift these photos for the holidays as a celebration of your senior and a very meaningful gift for your loved ones (prints can be ordered through the gallery. I highly recommend the matted, framed prints that are offered).

  • Has your senior made a decision on what they plan to do next year, use some photos from our session to announce their plans! Most high schools will also post a photo with an announcement on instagram.

  • Announcements! Oooofff, it’s getting real now! If you need help with this step, I’m happy to put together a design and place this order for you.

  • Do you want to order a senior sign? I can help with this two. Please give me 4-6 weeks to get this order placed and in your front yard. This was a very fun surprise for my senior and her friends last year!

  • What photos do you want to showcase at graduation and how? If your kiddo is going to college, consider printing images from our session, as well as less formal ones and some from childhood. A simple clothes line with clips is an easy way to decorate for your graduation party.

  • Most important, put your favorites up at home for you to enjoy. No matter what they plan on doing after graduation, it’s important to celebrate this transition in their life and to remember this time! Photos are a really great way to do that.

I’m happy to help with anything you need. Please contact me with any questions or needs for your senior. Also, plan ahead! Life will start to move very fast (yes, I have been through this once and will have a senior again in 24-25! I’ve got you :)
